I'm back, it was a great trip, a great city, an incredible number of exciting products, a lot of unnecessary stuff.
You have to pay very close attention to what everyone says; Chinese traders think differently than we do.
I've found new mowers and also seen a few I'm already familiar with. There's a huge difference in quality, and prices vary as well. I already have a few photos for you. I'll feature the products I'm adding to my range separately once I have them and have taken photos and videos.
I also had the chance to meet with existing contacts in person on site and deepen those relationships. This allows me to ensure a smooth and rapid supply of spare parts. It's always better to have a Chinese person on board. Negotiations and technical details can often be clarified more easily if you speak Chinese. That would certainly work with a European who speaks Chinese, but we'll probably never fully understand the cultural nuances.
